Car description

Hello to all eBayers!I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I'm liquidating my collection since I'm selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place...! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. This vehicle has a clear Florida Title. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee. 1950 MERCURY CONVERTIBLE MONARCH RARE! RARE! RARE! THIS 1950 ALL ORIGINAL MERCURY CONVERTIBLE (CANADIAN VERSION) I WAS TOLD JUST A LITTLE OVER 800 UNITS WERE SENT TO THEM. NOT TOO MANY LEFT AFTER 67 YEARS. THIS CARS KNOWN TO FAME CAME FROM JAMES DEAN IN "REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE", SYLVESTER STALLONE IN "SLY" AND THE FAMOUS MOVIE "GREASE" WITH JOHN TRAVOLTAMechanicalThe car is equipped with 255 cu in.4.2L Flathead V8 that runs and sounds great and 3speed manual transmission with overdrive that shifts nicely through all the gears and believed to be original to the car. The clutch feels great. All original drivetrain and 6 volt system. Tires are very good. If you wanted to keep it all original you would need to have the hydraulics checked out which runs the power windows, seat and convertible top. Yes power seats, windows and top!!! But if you wanted to customize it not to worry and what a solid start. Exterior This is a very collectable solid body and frame... don't even see much surface rust on the frame. I put a magnet to many normal trouble spots and found magnet to strongly stick to car, so no bondo on the car. Last owner had it in his collection for over 18 years in a climate controlled garage. When he purchased and took it home his friends told him they would kill him if he chopped and customize it due to its rarity and original rust free condition. So he purchased 3 other Mercury's and customized them instead. Was told the paint is original color combination. The paint looks really nice and has very smooth finish. The top is in great condition. The previous owner took off the original front grille which is safe in the trunk of the car and will come with the car. He replaced it with the 49 grille which he liked better. All chrome is great. InteriorThe interior is beautiful with combination of light and dark brown leather seats. The floor carpet is nice and clean, door panels are in great condition. The steering wheel is nice and the dash is complete. Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase. Bid with confidence and if you have any questions that I might not have covered in the description, don't hesitate to ask. You can email me or send me your telephone number and I will give you a call. I have tried my best to describe this vehicle as accurately as I can. Remember, this vehicle is from the 1950's, and even though I've tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which I'm not aware of.I'm saying this because I've had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered! This is your chance to own a great classic at a great price!
