1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 in gorgeous Cobalt Blue with perfect black and white hound's-tooth interior and ONLY 22,402 original miles. This matching numbers car was the recipient of a $22,000 complete restoration by Stu-Evans Lincoln Mercury in Michigan. It was completely stripped to bare metal and refinished in stunning Cobalt Blue. It was then shipped to Bob Gillingham Ford in Cleveland, Ohio and used as a showroom display show car. Original 351 Cleveland engine, 100% factory original and unmodified; still fitted with the original Motorcraft carburetor, cast iron intake manifold. Exhaust was upgraded to 2.5 inch dual Flowmaster. Ice cold factory air-conditioning. The factory Hide-Away headlights function perfectly as does the rear Sequential Turn Signals. All original interior in absolutely lovely condition with no wear on the seats, no wear on the carpets, and no wear on the controls. Comfortable bucket seats with the center console and factory floor shifter. Factory Rally Gauges with the in-dash 6,000 RPM tachometer. Excellent dash with no sun fade, no flaws, and with no cracks in the Rim-Blow steering wheel. Remote driver's side mirror. Factory AM radio still in place; and works perfectly. Factory front chin spoiler. Brand new chrome Crager SS mag wheels fitted with brand new 215-70-14 front and wide 245-60-14 rear raised-white-letter Cooper Cobra radial tires. Laser-straight body with perfect panel fit, no patches, and no evidence of damage ever. Excellent chrome and trim. Excellent glass. Everything works with the exception of the factory clock. Every gauge, every light, the wipers, sequential turn signals, hide-away headlights, rim-blow horn, factory tachometer, factory radio; all work perfectly. The miles on this car actually are 22,402 and the title is marked appropriately "Actual Miles".
