Car description

1968 Mercury Colony Park Station Wagon Restoration ProjectOver 40 Pictures!Power Disc Brakes, ower Windows, ir ConditioningThis wagon cleared lien at my buddy's impound yard. Wagon was impounded per the California Vehicle Code. The wagon was not reclaimed by the owner, lien was placed, leared and now law requires that it be auctioned off. Wagon will come with CA DMV issued Lien Sale Packet (NO TITLE) which will allow the buyer to register the Wagon and have a title issued to the buyer.Wagon looks like it has been sitting for years. We had a key made, ut in a fresh battery, oured some fuel on the carb and was only able to get engine to cranks. The door panels, eats, ash and are in beautiful shape, ear perfect. Body is fairly straight with the exception of rear bumper, eft rear quarter panel (rust) and dent on the roof. Hood hinge is missing a bolt and small corner of hood has bent. Needs rear tailgate glass and windshield. Tires hold air. Three original hubcaps are inside the car with original license plate frames out of Downey, A. Missing headliner. The floorboard on the wagon area is completely gone/rusted. The only other sports of rust that I saw was just ahead of the front floorboards, river's door jam and left rear quarter panel (all pictured). This wagon needs to be saved, estored or at least made into a driver. My buddy wants to derby it, e being a 60's Ford lover and against destroying it, e gave me an opportunity to sell it.Please allow a few moments for all the pictures to load and look closely at all detailed photos. We strongly encourage inspection prior to bidding. It is available for inspection Mon-Fri 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at 593 N. Batavia Ave., range, A 92868 (end of alley). Wagon is sold as-is, here-is without any stated or implied warranty. I am not a mechanic or any expert and described what I saw to the best of my ability. Again, e encourage inspections and questions prior to bidding. We require a non refundable deposit of $250 within 24 hrs of end of auction. Balance is due within 7 days of end of auction. Please have your finances ready prior to bidding. If balance is not received within 7 days of end of auction, inning bidder forfeits car and deposit. Cash or PayPal only. Car needs to be picked up within 14 days of end of auction. We are a impound yard with limited space but we may be able to work with you with storage at our facility if you need more time. Winning bidder is responsible for DMV fees and transportation arrangements (logistics and financially) We may be able to transport it in Southern CA at a discounted rate. Sold as-is, here-is with no stated or implied warranty. Thanks and good luck!
