Car description

Up for auction is a beautiful 1978 Mercury Grand Marguis survivor. This is a 1 owner North Carolinabarn find, xcept it was in a carport, ot a barn. It is anunmolested, ownerand all original vehicleexcept for the paint on the driver's side due to a minor bump-up. The original owner had the whole side painted from the chrome strip down. There area few small cracks in the paint on the drivers door.I took a picture of the worse ones but you can't see them from about 6 to 8 feet away. There aresome scratches around the right front fender thatI touched up and you can't tell they are there from about 6-8 ft. away. They werecaused by a dog after a cat that ran under the car.Everything else on the car is original except for the tires and battery and I had a new vinyltop installed. Everything on the car works as it should, ven the clock. The car had been sitting for about 7 yrs. and I put gas in the tank and a batteryand primed the carb. and itstarted up and I drove it home after letting it warm up. Since buying the carI have replaced the vinyl top, lugs & wires, ngine drive belts, hanged the oil & filter, hanged trans. fluid & filter and had the carb. rebuilt. I don't know of anything this car needs. It runs and drives great. You can drive this vehicle anywhere. This is not a show car but with very little effort and money it could be, r you can cruise it like it is. The car comes with the factory fender skirts, ut I prefer the non skirted look.I have known the original owner most of my life and hewas a mechanic by professionand believed in preventative maintenance, o you know if anything was wrong with the car, t was repaired. I have not found anything on the car that doesn't work as it should. There is a minimal amount of surface rust on the undercarriage for a car sitting for this amount of time. The chassis and floor pans and trunk are solid. The mileage will be a little more than stated because I am going to enjoy this ride until it sells. It shouldn't be over about 500 more. Thanks for looking and check my feedback and bid with 100% confidence. I require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit through Pay-palatthe close of the auction and pick-up with the balance in cash or certified check or through Pay-pal within 7 days of auction closing. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping arrangements. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime, s this vehicle is offered for sale locally. If you have any questions, ust message me and I'll answer them to the best of my ability.
