Car description

Rare 1970 Mercury Monterey Convertible Garage Find!!Here is a rare 1970 Mercury Monterey Convertible there was only 581 made in this year of those no one knows how many are still on the road you can find this information in the classic car data base. This car is a project and does need work the owner no longer wanted to do it and was just leaving it sit so I rescued it in hopes someone would want to do it. If not I'm going to rebuild it when I get the time, ut I have 3 projects going of my own and right now don't have the time. I've put several photos on so you can see the car. The owner told me the paint job and some interior work cost him $5,500 there is a picture of the paint with the sparkles in it. What you see in the photos is what you get. The one front turn signal needs replaced as does one of the red rear lenses. I have bought 1958 352-390 machined heads which are also rare and are being rebuilt and will be included also included is a 4 bbl manifold is being cleaned and inspected, do not have the carburetor for it. In the pictures you will see all the other parts rocker, ush rods, istributor, tc. Look over the pictures well as I have photographed everything that goes with the car. The items in the paper wrap are re-chromed bumpers which cost approx. $500- $800 each to do. The hub caps are very hard to find and you'll notice all 4 are there they do have wear and tear but are fixable no holes in them just scratches and dings. The door panels are all there as are the seats. I was told someone re-upholstered them years ago, ut the job was not that good. It appears all the chrome and trim for the convertible top is there as well. The car appears to be all there and could make a sweet ride for someone that wants to take it on. All the parts are being stored in a dry area. The seats do need to be re-done but you can see all the hardware is there to include the hard to find rear seat ashtray. This vehicle is being sold locally so I have the right to close the listing at any time. Any questions please feel free to ask me.Good Luck Bidding!!
