Car description

For sale is my 1969 Mercedes Benz 280 SE. (title in hand).

The mileage on the vehicle and the title shows 58000 miles but me or the previous owner are not aware of the odometer turning over once.

The car was purchased from an antique car collector in Ohio in 2012, ho himself purchased the vehicle from Florida in 2002. The car was stored for 10 years in Ohio.

The car is a good looking survivor and still needs some love and work done to it.

The car itself is very straight. I unfortunately do not have any spare time left to work on the car and would like to pass it on to someone looking to take care of her.

Inside leather is blue and is in a good shape. There is a crack from the sun on the dashboard (common problem). Some of the window mechanisms/motors seem to be jammed and need cleaning and lubrication. The re is no rust in the bottom of the trunk or foot wells. Some rust can be seen in the pictures on the bottom of the side fenders.

The air blower has been disconnected by the previous owner and is in the trunk ( dont know why). ac and radio controls are not in working conditions.

Since the purchase of the vehicle the following items were replaced/ serviced:

Antifreeze system flushed and filled

Fuel lines cleaned/lubricated

New MB original Fuel Filter

New MB original Oil Filter and Fresh oil

New Transmission Filter & Fluid

New Fuel Pump

New Ignition Coil (Bosh)

New ignition wires and Spark Plugs

New Belts (fan etc.)

New Water Pump (MB Original)

The biggest issue with the car was the transmission, he gears would hesitate and it would act up.

The local transmission shop replaced the transmission with an original MB transmission. There is no warranty on any part of this car.

PLEASE BE AWARE the car is not in highway driving condition, t still needs some IDLE and throttle adjustments done to it.

Do not think the car is an every day driver. CAR is sold as is.

As you can see, ood amount of money and time was spent on this car so please do not solicit with low ball offers or if you are not serous about the car. I will NOT ship the car overseas or work with a "broker" or " middle man through PAYPAL" .

I am willing to help with the delivery of the car since I have an ability to tow it and also know a flat bed service that can be hired if needed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see the vehicle in person
