1976 Mercedes Benz 240D Diesel Automatic w115

Condition: Overall body is great you wont find many in this condition. a few minor chips and scratches. motor runs a little rough at start up but smooths out. transmission needs work and a new motor mount would be good also the dash fuse needs replacing and it needs a battery. The engine is not the original it is actually a 1975 that has been reworked and cleaned out (in early 2014) so the mileage only reflects the chassis. Features: Original radio. matching hubcaps. extra fuel tank in the trunk (25 gallons) the trunk is huge though so you barely notice it in there but a really cool option!. this vehicle could be converted to veggie oil with $50 in upgrades. these engines are legendary and with proper maintenance have gone into the 500k mile range. New rear tires. oil change done 100 miles ago. new injectors. plugs. valve adjustment done 200 miles ago. History: I am sure there is a long history for this car but I do not know it all I bought it off a man who collects and fixes these cars as a hobby and I properly maintained this car in the 1. 5 years I owned it. I am selling because we bought a motorhome and are going traveling around the country for the next few years. I wish I could garage it but that's not an option for us. our loss your gain as they say.
