Car description

1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300TD Turbo Diesel Wagon.
Hello!
This is a beautiful vehicle in moderate condition.
I have had it for around a year and a half, and it has yet to leave me stranded.
It is rust free, the dashboard has not cracked, and it shifts pretty well. Or, it shifts much better than it had when I first got it.
Also, it drives with decent power.
Some of it its issues include the power locks not working, the instrument cluster lights are broken, both of the rear axel boots are torn and likely will require a replacement of both rear axles, the odometer is busted, the air conditioning doesn't work, the cruise control doesn't seem to work, and the car does struggle to start on cold days.
Some recent repairs include replacements of most of the belts and the radiator hoses, a replacement of the radiator itself, a replacement of the front and rear brake pads and rotors, and a new battery.
Recently, it did make the drive from Tucson, Arizona to Chicago, Illinois, taking a route that went through the south to New Orleans and then north. However, it did have a break down in Mississippi where, after having been driving for awhile under a heavier load, I came to a stop, the car started shaking, and shut off.
It was resolved that same night after the car was topped off with oil and rested a bit.
I have been keeping up with oil changes, but at the moment it is due for one.
Let me know if you have any further questions!
Thank you very much for your time and support.
