1986 mercedes-benz 560sec BEST COLOR COMBO

You have to be aware that I LOVE these cars, and don't really want to sell it. I currently own 5 others, all pristine, and all really low mileage. It is getting really hard to find the W-126 Coupe with mileage under 100K. Even with HIGH mileage these are still great cars. Unfortunately, I am out of space. I just found a pristine example with only 7000 one owner miles. I now own it, and need to make space for it. Therefore we have to find a new home for this one. My loss is your gain.
When Mercedes introduced the 560 SEC, they made a good car the, 500 SEC, into a really great car! The additional horsepower (238) makes this one of the finest road cars of all time. As mentioned above, this one is finished in what I feel is the best color combination for this car...black with a golden tan leather. (I have another in that same combo!)
The SEC was the highest priced car in the Mercedes stable, and was chosen only by the most elite of society's Mercedes buyers.
The W-126 was designed in the wind tunnel, and utilized various aluminum and alloy parts to reduce weight and wind resistance.
Over the several year model run (1985-1991), only 28,929 of these cars were built. Often, they have stayed with that original owner as a cherished prize.
I am the fourth owner of this car, but it has obviously been well kept and well cared for its entire life. The only thing that I've found inoperable is the power antenna and i may have that fixed by the time you get it!
The mileage indicated is less than 37,000 miles. The previous owner believed that mileage to be correct and original, and therefore so do I. I have driven several of these cars, and I can tell you that it DRIVES like a low mileage car. I was also told that the Carfax was clean, but I did not go to the trouble of doing one.
I CAN tell you that this car runs out great, and is a joy to drive! It runs strong, stops well and straight, and attracts more attention than a new one!
It has one minor paint bubble on the passenger side of the front of the hood, and a minor door ding on the passenger door. So I guess it's not perfect!
Both horns work. There is a European horn, and an American available at the flip of a switch.
The A/C blows ice cold.
The tires were just installed new, by the previous owner.
Recent maintenance items have been completed including new fuel accumulator, fuel filter, fuel regulator, air filter, oil change, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap, and rotor.

We make no warranties as to the accuracy of the mileage indicated or shown and accept no responsibility for any discrepancy with independent reports such as CarFax, Autocheck, etc. Unless the vehicle is advertised as an original mileage car, do not assume that the mileage/odometer reading is the actual mileage. It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time pictures are taken. MILEAGE IS NOT ACTUAL UNLESS STATED SO IN THE DESCRIPTION! Vehicles are test driven and mileage may vary at time of sale.

Payments/Fees/Taxes:

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required within 48 hours of close of auction. Full payment is required within 7 business days of the close of auction unless otherwise agreed in writing. Vehicles and titles will not be released without cleared funds and signed documents. Wire transfers or cashier's checks are preferred. Any other payment methods MUST be pre-approved.

Purchase price does not include: State Tax, Documentation Fee, Title & Registration, Transport and Drive Away Plate Fees.
