Car runs and drives excellent. Starts on first crank - if you are familiar with Cosworths, you'd know how hard it is to get them to start (especially cold start) and running right. The engine runs perfect and pulls with lots of power. Even with the (less than ideal) automatic gearbox, it is a pleasure to drive, especially when you floor it and the transmission kicks down and the car takes off.
People always say the 2.3-16 is underpowered. Having owned NAm spec 2.3-16's (lackluster), Euro Spec 2.3-16's (excellent), and this EuroSpec 2.5-16, this just blows all the others out of the water. This is the one to have. A well sorted, rust free example is hard to come by.
