In layman's terms, if we are selling it, it is special. This 1973 Mercedes Benz 280 Sedan is the epitome of a "daily driver" 70's retro car. Somerthing you could, with confidence, hop in and drive across the country, while looking like the coolest guy or girl on the street.

Finished in a gorgeous non metallic Chalk like gray, which looks mostly original, and is the original color the car was ordered in. The color is what makes the car so cool, as you never see them in these non metallic colors. As you can see in the pictures, the car is in excellent shape, and shows VERY well. The brightwork looks as it should, as do the wheels and lights on the car. Everything is how it should be. Very few small isolated areas of surface rust exist as you can see in the pictures, but nothing that take away from the gorgeous finishing on this machine.

The interior on this car is Black MB Tex and it looks like new. Nothing shows wear, no tears, no stains, and it even smells like they used to. Talk about nostalgia. Again, see the photos to get a sense of just HOW clean this 1973 Time Machine is.

Mechanically, this car has been addressed fully. Owned by a current Mercedes Benz Master Technician, the car was gone through and used in rotation for daily driving duties by the owner. To name a few of the service items addressed, the 280 has a complete new Brake system including hoses, calipers, rotors, ands pads. A new fuel pump was also installed on the car. The carburetor was rebuilt, and the engine bay has been undercoated to prevent rust. The AC system has been fully recharged and blows ice cold, even in this 100 degree Florida weather. Lastly, new tires were recently installed, ensuring thousands of miles of driving for the new owner. Everything on the car works, all of the lights, the radio, gear select, defroster, everything. You will not find another one this worry free.

Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license but are responsible for the documentation fee. Our documentation fee is $248.50.
