Car description

This car has been in my family for quite some time. It was a one owner car then my father bought it from a Mercedes dealership in Michigan 2002. He drove it for 12 years, we sold it to a friend, then we bought it back for my son. It is VERY clean. This is the larger 3.2L, 228 hp gas motor. Super clean interior. It was a Michigan car for much of it's life so there are some rust bubbles, mostly on the front fenders, but included are two rust free front fenders (blue) that we pulled this spring .

The car has, however, developed a transmission issue. The car does not like to go in reverse when the engine warms up, however it currently goes forward just fine.

Here is some of what what we have done to in in the last year and a half:

a. New drive train flex disk, $520.00 from Autohaus Dierolf n Carmel,IN in June
b. New Bilstein OEM level front stunts and (professional) alignment ( this year)
c. New Bridgestone ECOPIA EP422 205-60-15 tires (last fall) on 5 spoke mags
d. New brake pads all around
e. Fresh oil change in June
f. New interior hood latch lever
g. All windows (tinted) work, drivers rear window as a NEW motor – moon roof work, power locks work
h. New grill
i. New upgraded headlights
j. Air works – was upgraded at least once and the condenser has been replaced while my Father owned it
k.
Replaced thermostat
l. Many dash lights replaced
m. Replaced the steering wheel with a near mint example.
o. Battery replaced

No stereo

We also have the old headlights, extra parts included, see the last picture. This was my son's daily driver until the transmission issue, and our Father/Son project. Unfortunately he needed something to get to work and school and we don't have the time or ability to do transmission work. Would make a great project, or part it out ( just don't tell me!) . No warranty - as is.
