1990 Mercedes 230GE "Gelandewagen". This 463 chassis is of the SWB, or short wheel base, with 2 doors, a sunroof, and a rear hatch. Front bucket seats, and one rear bench supply seating for 5. The paint on the truck is good shape and appears to been resprayed in the last few years. There is a small crack in the windshield.

Power is provided by a 2.3-liter M102 inline-four, coupled to an automatic transmission. A total of 3 differential locks are included on this vehicle, one for the transfer case, as well as an additional lock for both the front, and rear axle. It should be noted that the indicator light does not illuminate for the rear differential lock but does appear to be working.

Aside from a worn bolster panel on the driver's seat, the interior is in well- preserved condition. It is not NEW. The exterior is in good condition. Paint shines well as it was just buffed out. Tires are at 75% tread life front, and rear. The engine performs as it should, and makes solid power. Unlike the under powered non-turbo diesels, this engine supplies enough power to travel at and above the speed limit on the highways.

The transfer case is equipped with high gears (Strasse) and low gearing (Gelande).

The odometer reads 178,552 (km) which equals 110,946 (miles).

If you are looking for a solid daily driver and have potential as a true collector car that is appreciating in value, this is a perfect truck for you to hold for 5-10 years and enjoy both driving and asset appreciation.
