1985 Mercedes 3000CD turbo diesel coupe only 182k miles

We bought this gorgeous 300CD last year from a long time owner but we just do not get to drive it enough. So here it is back on Ebay. 1985 was the last year Mercedes built the gorgeous W123 series 2 door coupe. They made them from 1978 until 1985 and only for the last 4 years with the turbo charger. These cars already had a reputation for being very economical and reliable. With the turbo charger and the added horsepower they now were also much more fun to drive everyday.This particular 300CD was finished in "light ivory" ( MB color code 623). This was a very elegant and popular color in 1985. The quality of the paint they used back then is amazing. Even after 33 years this paint still has a deep shine and gloss to it. I get compliments on this car whenever i take it out. There are only very small scratches/rock chips and a couple of small dings on i, since this car has always been pampered and garaged.The interior is very clean as wel, as the many pictures will show. There are no rips or tears in the seats.The door panels and carpets are clean and even the wood is in wonderful condition. But the best thing about this classic Mercedes is the way it drives. After buying the car we had out mechanic go through it. Steppke Imports here in West Los Angeles did a complete service on the car. All the fluids were changed and the vacuum system has been gone through. The power door locks work the way they are supposed to. He converted the AC and it is blowing ice cold from all the vents. This car has plenty of power and is shifting smoothly through all the gears. You can comfortable cruise with 85 miles per hour while still getting 27mpg of diesel.Please look at all the picture, as they can describe this classic Mercedes better than i can.
