Original unrestored car showing all original components. Solid floors and trunk floor with no rust and a fantastic comfortable patina. Beautiful and rare 268h green special order car with factory cognac leather seats. kinder seat in back. leather door panels. and leather dash trim. Only 71. 00 kilometres or 44. 00 miles from newThe nose was repainted by the original owner to cover rock chips. The front fenders show the original spotwelds. but the original headlight notches in the paintwork by the headlamp chrome trims were sanded over when repainted. You can feel them. but they were painted over. The old bodyman / painter who did the work didn't remember the notches. but he did say only the nose was touched up. This is a nice low mileage car. with many original hoses underhood. We just changed some original cooling hoses and some original fuel lines. and some rubber brake lines. The car runs. drives. and feels like a low mileage original. The side carpet pieces under the doors could be replaced. and the seat leather has cracks. The original radio was sent out for repair and not returned. The drivers door window has a slight rattle. a straightforward fix outlined on the Pagoda website. There is one bubble in the paint on the right front fender. and at one spot under the windshield. The floors and underside show no rust. Not many of these around with factory leather and the child seat. as well as very low miles. The car was always maintained and only driven on nice summer days. My reserve is set at the Hagerty average for all 230sl's. so it is low for such an original low mileage. well optioned car. The buy it now is less than the cars appraised value. and right at the Hagerty value for a #2 condition car. Will sell worldwide
