Car description

I got this car as part of a collection of other Mercedes, I don't know a whole lot about it and it didn't come with service records. I spent a couple of days driving it to get to know it and here are my impressions:
No rust, the car was bought new in Arizona and then spent time in California.
The car starts up easily and doesn't have a lot of smoke for a diesel.
Makes good power, feels more like a gas engine than a diesel.
Shifts, brakes, and handles well, I haven't noticed any problems there.
Has some damage on the driver's side fender and front bumper, see photo. Appears to be original paint, in good condition except for a scratch on the tailgate. Glass is all good. High quality Continental tires, but tread is getting shallow, should be replaced in the next 10K miles.
All gauges work, the car shows good oil pressure and stable running temperatures.
Vacuum door locks work. The radio works but the power antenna does not. Sunroof works but the tilt function doesn't. Power windows all work.
Climate control works but the AC doesn't blow cold. Fan and plenum positioning works.
Some cracks starting on the dash, and some cracking on the wood surrounding the shifter. That piece is easily available to replace if needed.
There is no 3rd seat option, but I do have a complete 3rd seat assembly in excellent shape, and in the same tan color. It includes every last piece you would need for the conversion, including seatbelts. I'd include that for an additional $400 if interested.
Clean and clear California state title. Car is sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied.
Email with any questions. I'm happy to show the car to anyone who would like to drive it, I'm located in Portland Oregon, email for an appt.
Seems to be a pretty decent wagon with some cosmetic challenges. Hard to find model. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking!
