Car description

1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL60,700 highly documented milesVery desirable color combination of Signal Red with black leather interior. One family owned since new.
Absolutely no paint work done on this car.(Paint has been checked with paint thickness gauge)Absolutely zero rust or corrosion. No dents, door dings, or clear coat issues.
Interior is excellent with supple original leather interior that shows virtually no cracking or wear.
Wood grain veneers show very well.
HVAC works properly.
Absolutely mint original soft top.Flawless hard top.
Chrome and bright work show as new with no scratches or wear.
Undercarriage is about as clean as the top of the car. Many of the original stickers are on the suspension parts.
Spare tire has never been used.
Original Becker Grand Prix radio sent out to Becker for full overhaul. ( Sounds great)
Timing chains and rails already done.Motor mounts and subframe mounts already done.
What people fail to realize when investing in a 560SL is that the timing chain guides degrade over time. I don't care if you have a 5000 mile car or a 200,000 mile car. They are plastic and fall apart. When they do the engine can jump timing and your engine with self destruct. This is about a $2,000 fix that every 560 needs. It is already been done on this car as a precautionary measure.
Moreover, I never seen a 560 that didn't need subframe bushings. Once again it is age and not mileage that dictates this. Another $1,500 precautionary repair already done.
These items are so important in a 560SL and this car is ready to go.
Original wheels in perfect shape come with this car.
I am including the flawless CARFAX report for your viewing.
This 560 is one of the finest in the country. I priced it aggressively to sell. I have the car for sale on other venues and the car is for sale locally.
