Car description

Show car, roudly shown at local car shows and a great head turner on the road.Drives solid and strong. Driven regularly with no problems. After almost 2 month of not driving it (vacations and a very hot summer!), t stalled while idling. Quick fix by turning thecarburetor bolt. Ran perfectly after that.Have had it for 3 years, ought it from a collector gentleman from South Carolina.I Have cared for it and loved every moment since, riving it to local car shows, here it has gathered many glances and admiration.I have mostly done aesthetics, ngine cleaning and minor mechanics, s very little was needed mechanically.- NEW exhaust pipe and muffler (year and model correct)- NEW shift railing- RESTORED seats- NEW high quality German vinyl upholstery.- AC unit present, ever used.- recent FULL and extensive maintenance at local certified mechanic specializing in older Mercedes carsAs can be seen, his car is in an awesome shape. It is a real head turner.it is a 43 year old car with some details, one of which are critical nor urgent.Odometer reads 84,695 miles. This may vary by the time of delivery as expected due to test drives. Based on the shape of the engine and parts, nd although we can not prove it, y mechanic and I believe it should actually be 184k miles.Paint. From 6 foot away, aint is flawless, ut there is a crack on the right front quarter. It has minor chips, one major nor noticeable.Interiors. Seats have been redone in vinyl. Wood trim is all complete and correct.Power windows. all working. The two front ones need a little help to get all the way up.Window seals. Needs new seals on most windows. More noticeable in back, here it was filled (prior owner or even before) with sealant.Floor panels. Has a small crack on floor panel, o more than 8 in in length and not even 1 in width. Should be an easy fix.All outside lights work.Inside (courtesy) lights won't work. Wiring and light bulbs there, ut haven't spent the time in troubleshooting them to get them to work.Engine compartment is super clean and has new hood pad.It is a very nice car. It will nee to be painted to be perfect. It was evidentlly repainted some time ago and it was not a very good job. Color is the original one or very close to, ccording to engine compartment code plaque.I will do my best to answer any questions. Bid with confidence for this classic car that continues to grow in value and appreciation from clubs around the world.I will INCLUDE a car cover that was fit for this car.
