Car description

Low production fuel injected 1985 Mazda RX7 GSL-SE finished in Sparkling Black Metallic over grey cloth interior. This is an adult two owner car that has lived in Southern California and Arizona. Living in dry climates makes for a car that is rust and corrosion free. 103k well cared for miles, we have a mileage log, a thick stack of receipts for maintenance, shop manual, and the original window sticker. This RX7 has a clean title and CARFAX and comes from a non-smoking home.

This RX7 is equipped with power windows/locks, cruise control, air conditioning, am/fm cassette (oh yeah!), and moonroof. The body is very straight for a 32 year old car, all paint looks original and the factory paint has a great deal of luster. The interior is in great condition with no rips or tears. This car has had tinted windows from new which has kept the interior in excellent condition and free from sun damage. Factory floor mats have done an excellent job of protecting the carpets and the rear storage compartments still rest on factory hinges which is a rarity. Recent maintenance includes a new battery, plugs/wires, oil change, and catalytic converter. This RX7 starts right up and pulls strong. Clutch engages as it should and this Mazda handles and stops as expected. Sale includes records as mentioned above, extra keys, sunroof bag, two sets of wheel locks, RX7 schwag (duffle bag, hat, valve stem caps, etc.), and much more.

This RX7 runs very well and has great compression (Rotor 1= 109-115-114 PSI) (Rotor 2= 125-124-125 PSI). The engine bay is dry and does not leak anything. There is no vibration in the brakes and the suspension is tight and free of any noise. Paint looks to be all original and has consistent paint depth (3.5) all the way around. Given the age there are paint chips and door dings you would expect, a round of PDR do nicely. There are several instances of touch of paint that have been wet sanded and then treated with clay bar, polish, and wax with the rest of the car. All trim, emblems, etc. are intact. Both mirrors are functional however the passenger side has a crack in it. The rear washer nozzle is not connected, I am guessing it was removed due to the louvers that were on the car. A new nozzle is included with sale. The interior is very clean with no odors or flaws as mentioned above. The power windows are a little slow to go down but are functional. The majority of the electronics work with the exception of the hazards and rear wiper. The heater blows strong and AC seems to blow cool, the best setting is from the floor or defrost as the cabin facing vents do not blow as freely. I have confirmed the vents are clear and it may just be a matter of the dash control mechanism. Wheels are in great condition with no curb damage, tires are older but show no signs of heat checking. Car was stored in the air so there are no flat spots or sagging of the suspension. The underside of the car is very clean and free of any rust or corrosion.

I have tried to give a very honest depiction of this RX7, I have personally owned several over the years and this one is as nice as any of them. You can find awalk around videoon our YouTube channel. In the meantime please let me know if you have any questions and happy bidding.
