1970 LOTUS S2 EUROPAA RECENT DISCOVERY JUST OUT OF 25+ YEARS STORAGE
1970 Lotus S2 Europa . The car was recently found and taken out of dry storage where it has been lingering parked and unused for decades . It is a project ca, but it appears that with a bit of work it could be made into a drive, or a good basis to bring to a higher level depending upon your ideas for it . It would require recommissioning to be able to put on the road but overall it is complet, intact and has a good chassis . We were able to feed the carb with some gas from a can and it fired right up and the engine actually sounded quite good . It would require at a minimu, attention to the brake, clutch and hydraulic, fuel system and probably more to be able drive . Itpresents overall as a good complete intact car to work with. The car has the correct original type Renault engine that was upgraded previously with a side draft Weber carburetor and manifold and 4 to 1 exhaust header for a bit of extra performance .A great find for the Lotus enthusiast .
