Car description

Welcome. Up for sale is a 1963 Lincoln Continental 4 Door Sedan. All original, complete car, less hubcaps, with 80K original miles. This Lincoln is being sold FOR PARTS ONLY. I rescued it from the crusher and planned to restore it, but I have too many other projects to realistically get to it in the next decade. The title was gone decades ago in a fire at the salvage yard office and the original owner of the yard has passed away (it is thankfully complete because he refused to sell parts off most cars), so NO TITLE/FOR PARTS ONLY. I am sure you could get a title if desired, but it is likely not worth it due to the condition of the car. If you need cores or hard-to-find stainless pieces, this Lincoln is great for you. Please be aware that it is VERY, VERY ROUGH AND RUSTY, as to be expected from sitting in a salvage yard, outdoors with no cover, for over 40 years! The floors are soft or rotted out in most areas, as are the door bottoms etc. The doors do not open or close well from sitting and rust. The hood is rusted underneath and bends, plus the hinges are rusted. Amazingly, the front frame is pretty solid, with only one small area of rot found. The rear frame is likely rough, but I have not crawled underneath it. I would expect the back end to be much worse than the front...The rear trunk lid is thin and rusty, and the rear bumper ends, lower quarters etc. are rotted out. The glass all looks good and uncracked/unbroken. The hard-to-find window trim, grille, headlights etc. are all present. It was last inspected in the mid-1970s, so expect the motor to be locked tight. The trans. is in neutral. It is all there though, even the A/C compressor etc. A GREAT PARTS SOURCE. AGAIN, a PARTS CAR/NO TITLE/FOR PARTS/SALVAGE.
Very fair buy it now price, but all offers will be seriously considered. Serious bidders ONLY. You are entering a legally binding commitment to buy when hitting the buy it now or by making an offer that is successfully accepted. You are not buying a chance to think about it or kick the tires. You may come look at it first if you choose BEFORE BIDDING OR BUYING. It is a RUSTY PARTS CAR WITH NO TITLE SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS WITH NO WARRANTIES IMPLIED OR GUARANTEED IN ANY WAY. VERY ROUGH FOR PARTS. TOO ROUGH FOR A TRANSPORT/SHIPPING COMPANY...MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON AND PAID FOR IN CASH!

The car is to be picked up at my buddy's property in Hegins, PA 17938. Payment is to be made as follows: a $250 non-refundable deposit via PayPal within 24 hours and the balance of the selling price by cash in person upon pickup. Pickup is to be within 14 days unless I agree to an extension PRIOR to the sale. I highly recommend a rollback or a trailer with a winch. Assistance with loading is no problem IF I KNOW WHEN YOU ARE COMING.
Thanks for the interest!
