Car description

This 2006 Speedster Motorcars Z-Series coupe is the second car in a limited-edition run of custom vehicles that pay tribute to the Lincoln Zephyr. The project involved motorcycle builder Roger Bourget and car customizer Tom Gibson, and the styling was inspired by the highly modified purple 1939 Zephyr known as "Scrape." Power comes from a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 mated to a GM 4L60E automatic transmission. The fiberglass exterior is finished in white and silver with gold-leaf pinstriping, and the interior features white and silver leather upholstery. Clear title in sellers name describes it as a 2006 Linc Zephyr.

Pearlescent silver paint covers the lower half of the fiberglass body, which was built by Deco Rides, while the upper portion is finished in pearlescent white. Gold-leaf and red striping runs along both sides. The handle-less suicide doors open by remote control.

Cream-colored leather with silver accents covers the seats, floors, door panels, dashboard, and more, while the headliner is composed of Alcantara. A representation of the Lincoln star logo is embroidered on the seats and floor mats. JL Audio subwoofers play sound from a JVC CD player and are mounted behind the seats. Centered above those on the rear interior panel is a display for the backup camera, which is currently not hooked up.

Production number 002 and a logo for Bourget's Bike Works are displayed ahead of the floor-mounted automatic shifter. Stacked above that is an 8,000-rpm tachometer and a larger 130-mph speedometer. The 6-digit mechanical odometer shows less than 700 miles since new.

The trunk walls are finished in leather, and a large letter Z is embroidered at the front.

The fuel-injected GM 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was advertised to produce 270 horsepower when these cars were created. The engine cover is painted to match the exterior, and a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission sends power to the solid rear end. The oil was reportedly changed six months ago.

I would like to add that I am 6'- 6", 300 LBS and I have plenty of headroom as well as legroom in this vehicle.
