1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Paint / Body: The original paint on this vehicle is called "Pastel Blue. (Code: 3A) The paint is holding up very well without any cracking, checking or fading. It has a nice shine. It also still has the original blue pinstripping. When the vehicle was new, it was rust proofed and undercoated. Has black plastic plugs in door jams to prove this fact. It is solid with only some rust spots starting to creep out from behind the stainless steel trim mouldings on the front fenders and rockers. The body is straight and free of any dents or door dings. The light blue vinyl roof has some discoloration but is not ripped or has any holes. The hidden headlight doors operate without any issues.
Chrome / Trim: All of the exterior and interior chrome/stainless trim pieces are still attached and ion nice condition. The chrome bumpers and bumper guards are very nice with only some very minor surface rust in some areas if you look close. (May be able to clean off.) The front grille, door handles, side view mirror, stainless trim moldings, emblems and taillight bezels are all in good condition.
Interior: The "Silver Blue" (Code: BP) interior is still completely original. The optional leather seats are holding up very well with no rips, loose seams or holes. The door panels have some cracking on the vinyl arm rests and pulls. The dash board and instrument panel area are very nice without any cracking, wear marks, or fading. The headliner has one small rip in it. (About 1" in diameter). All of the electrical items are in working condition. The only things we found was the power antenna is not working and the air conditioning isn't blowing as cold as it should. The AC system is working, compressor clicks on and the low side feels cold, but most likely will need a quick recharge. The "Tilt" steering wheel is in nice condition. The carpet has been recently cleaned and is in great shape. The factory optional AM/FM Multiplex radio is still installed. The speedometer/odometer is working and showing 67,984 miles. These are the original miles.
Engine Compartment: Under the hood sits the original 460 Cu. In. V-8 engine. This 67k mile engine is still running great without any problems or leaks. It doesn't tick or smoke. Bolted to this power plant is the original "C6" heavy-duty automatic 3-speed transmission known as the "SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic". It is also working great. It shifts nice and smooth with no known problems or noises. The engine compartment is original and stock looking. With a little cleaning and detailing, it would be ready for the shows.
Trunk Compartment: The trunk compartment is original looking with the factory carpet and spare tire cover. There are some rust stains on the trunk carpet that may or may not be easily removed. The original jack and jacking tools are included. They are stored in their correct locations.
Glass: All of the tinted glass pieces are still original. The power windows are working with no issues or problems. The rear window has the optional factory electric defroster.
Wheels and Tires: The car has P235/75R15 white side wall tires. They are older, but are in decent shape. Could use a good whitewall scrubbing. The tires are mounted on the factory rims with the factory hub caps. The hub caps are very nice without any major scratches or dents. The vehicle drives true and straight without any vibrations or pulling.
Undercarriage: Remember, this vehicle was undercoated when it was new. From the pictures, you will see this undercoating and how it has protected this chassis. The underside is solid and dry. The exhaust system is in good shape with no leaks or holes. The suspension system and brake system are both stock and are working great with no known problems.

Please read all of the terms before bidding. Our goal at Classic Cars Online, LLC. is to broker positive transactions between buyers and owners. We help with listing and presenting vehicles on eBay for the owners. We are not in possession of the vehicle. The owner provides us the information for the eBay auction and has stated the representations are true to the best of his/her knowledge.
We also have a "Risk Free" 7 day inspection period AFTER the auction for the winner bidder.
(See below for details.) 1) The owner provides and is responsible for any and all representations within this auction and not Classic Cars Online, LLC. The owner states that the presentations are honest and accurate to the best of his/her knowledge and assumes all legal responsibilities for the vehicle and representations. 2) At the conclusion of the auction and upon reception of a Five percent (5%) deposit, Classic Cars Online, LLC. will place the winning bidder in touch with the owner to arrange for inspection or transportation. Classic Cars Online will accept the deposit on behalf of the owner. This deposit is due within 3 days of auction closing. The deposit can be paid with a Certified Bank Check. 3) An Inspection of the vehicle is Highly Recommended and must be done within 7 days of auction closing. The remaining balance, is due to the owner at inspection/acceptance. *If inspection is not completed within 7 days, or buyer waves his choice to inspect the vehicle, the deposit is nonrefundable and the deal is finalized. The inspection can be done by the buyer personally or a third party inspector that the buyer hires. 4) Full payment is due within 7 days of auction closing. You are not purchasing a new car that is claimed to be flawless. Instead, you are purchasing a vehicle that is old and expected to have normal wear and tear from age. The vehicle is sold "as is" where is without any warranty implied or expressed. All sales are final once inspected or paid in full. 5) If the vehicle was found to be materially misrepresented at the inspection, your deposit is refundable and you are not liable for the purchase but this must be determined within the allotted seven (7) day inspection period. Regardless of our commitment to describe vehicles in as much detail as possible there will be imperfections. Failing to mention for example an item such as a small paint imperfection, a minor non-safety related item such as a switch etc, does not constitute refusal of the vehicle by the buyer. We require you to put in writing via email or fax the material misrepresentations in order to receive a refund of your deposit. Taking a few photos of the misrepresented area for us to see, will help point out and confirm your concerns. "Changed my Mind" is not a valid excuse for your deposit to be refunded. 6) Bidding on this auction demonstrates your acceptance to indemnify and hold harmless Classic Cars Online, LLC. from any liability resulting from this transaction, including any reasonable attorney fees. 7) PLEASE DO NOT bid unless you have full intentions of purchasing at your bid price. Your bid is a legally binding contract as eBay clearly states. We reserve the right to end the auction early. We also reserve the right to verify any or all bids to ensure excellent auction integrity. Please do not ask the sellers reserve price as we will not disclose this information. 8) WE DO NOT accept bid retractions. If you bid and retract you will be added to our blocked bidder list and future bids will NOT be accepted. eBay allows for you to triple check You're bid before finally entering the bid. Our integrity is impeccable as our feedback shows and we demand the same from our bidders. 9) Bidder/Buyer is responsible for all the shipping costs, insurance, title work, and must be 18 years of age or older. Remember, whether you are buying a car/truck from eBay, Hemmings or Collector Car Trader, you will inevitably want to go and inspect the vehicle. Our system is better than most as you can actually see several photos of the vehicle and enjoy a much more lengthy description, and then have a chance to inspect the vehicle after the auction.
