Car description

This partially restored Lincoln Continental Club Coupe was purchased in 2013 with the intent of completing the restoration but the owner passed before any work was started. We now hope someone will get this beauty back on the road.

The previous owner refreshed the interior, painted the exterior and swapped out the V-12 for what we think is a Buick V-8 with a 2 bbl.The motor will start and run and the 3 speed automatic transmission shifts. The car has been driven on the farm but will need the fuel system addressed as well as tires and brakes.

The wheels are wire but mounted with lug nuts. The tires are showing dry rot.

The paint has held up nicely and the chrome has just some minor pitting/rust.

The interior is in nice shape with the headliner, front seats, rear seats, door cards and rear carpets replaced about the time the car was repainted. The front carpets are worn and we don't know why they weren't replaced with the rest of the carpet. The push button door release is working on both doors.

The engine temperature gauge, oil pressure, fuel level, amp meter and speedometer function. But the radio and the clock do not work. The original ignition switch and key (included) have been by-passed with a push button start switch (red wires in photos).

There is some surface rust in the trunk but no evidence of leaks. The underside photos show some surface rust as well.
