Car description

I really, REALLY don't want to do this, but I think I'm going to have to let my 92 SE go. I've got too many irons in the fire right now, and I don't have the time or money to give the car the attention it deserves.

Specs:

92 LSC SE.
65,000 original miles.
3 Owner car. (Autocheck shows , which irritates me. The previous owner is a snowbird, and was registering it between PA and FL, and they counted that as owners.)
Garnet red with mocha interior
Car was repainted 2 years ago, with EXCELLENT prep and paint work. All trim and glass was removed and the body was gone over with a fine tooth comb and repainted. Car is stunning from 5 feet, but unfortunately is not perfect (I'll get to that here in a bit.)
Sunroof Car, Premium sound. Currently has JBL Speakers front and rear but still has Premium sound amp installed. Has aftermarket Pioneer bluetooth stereo installed, but as described below, I still have the factory CD player.

Car runs and drives fantastic and has a TON of new parts and some tasteful mods, also comes with a ton of spare parts including some NOS goodies.

New parts in past 6 months (I have receipts for 90% of this)

Motorcraft IAC (7/18) - 49.99
BWD Ignition Switch (5/18) - 62.00
BWD TFI (5/18) -39.99

New brake Hoses (5/18) - 36.00
New inner tie rods (5/18) - 189.00 (With lifetime alignment at tires plus)
New Everstart MAXX battery (5/18) - 109.99

NOS Headlamps (5/18) 209.99
Stacked plate trans cooler (5/18) - 99.99
Replaced all vacuum lines under hood, and new plenum gasket (8/18)

Extra parts not installed including NOS parts:
2 Tripminders (Tested and functional)
2 extra Marchal fog lamps, 1 cover
4 extra LSC center caps
Air bag module (SRS, not air suspension)
2 complete TEVES abs units (tested and working with accumulators)
2 Spare seat switches
Spare Center console panel and window switches
Spare instrument cluster, miles unknown (i'd have to go check)
Self dimming mirror
Suspension compressor and dryer pulled from parts car with functioning suspension
Complete Westar Air suspension kit with 4 new bags and solenoids
Brand new A/C Condensor (A/C works great, I got a good deal on a new one and I couldn't pass it up)
Spare climate control Unit
Spare overhead console with working compass / temp gauge
1 NOS Complete 1992 Engine Wiring harness still new in box from ford.
1 NOS Corner lamp
2 Dorman Door lock actuators
Original Factory CD Player (Untested)
Spare Ford branded JBL Cassette Head unit (Tested, working)
Spare JBL Amp (Untested)
(there's a whole box of spare parts. I bet i'm forgetting some stuff as well)

And the grand prize:
A set of reconditioned GT40P heads with Trickflow springs and rockers that I haven't had time to install yet. These were 800 dollars alone. Will also include ARP Head bolts, and the Fel Pro Gasket set that I got with this.

Mods:
93-94 Cobra lower and upper intake
Performance Products 65MM TB
Larger intake tube from early 302 EFI Cars
EGR Deleted
JBA Shorty headers
MAC Off road H-Pipe (Can include factory pipe with cats if desired, but obviously will not fit in the car. If you want cats, i'd suggest adding high flow cats to the existing pipe.)
2.5 " Catback with 2 Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers. Pipes end a bit after mufflers. (I had planned on taking it to an exhaust shop that can mandrel bend, as the mustang pipes simply do not clear the hump for the spare tire and nobody makes prebent pipes anymore that I can find. )
TCI Streetfighter Valve Body - Shifts fantastic. Will chirp second at WOT. No more overdrive sag either. AOD appears to have been rebuilt at some point, it had a Transtec Valve body in it when I put this one in.
Timing bumped to 13btdc. No pinging, has always run on 91+ gas.

The good:
It starts right up and sounds fantastic.
Zero leaks or smoke.
Transmission shifts excellent, especially with the new valve body.
Engine stays nice and cool with the new radiator and fan clutch.
Exterior is an 8.5/10. Paint is beautiful but has a few chips that have been touched up and there is about a 1/2 inch scratch in the passenger wheel well trim piece from when it made contact with my garage wall. It's only noticeable when you look up close.
Interior is a 8.5/10 as well. Seats have no tears and there is MINOR wear on the drivers seat. The steering wheel has minor wear, and the vanity trim and speaker cover on the driver door panel are slightly loose, the clips have deteriorated over time. Could easily be fixed, I just haven't had the time.
Ice cold A/C and hot heat.
Tripminder functions 100%
Overhead console works 100% as well

The not so good:

As mentioned before, there are a few paint chips that have been touched up and very minor damage to the red trim around the passenger wheel.
Paint currently has some swirl marks on the trun, not sure how this happened. I will try to correct this this week. I had a 2 stage paint correction and wax done two months ago, and I'm not sure what swirled the paint after that, it's only been hand washed.
Minor wear on driver seat (looks like dye has worn through, no tears or rips) and minor wear on steering wheel.
Door panel vanity ring needs new clips, could use a new speaker grille, as one of the clips has deteriorated and I don't believe in gluing things on that should be removable.
Exhaust still needs completed. Sounds great and does not drone, but I'm a perfectionist and would have liked the tips to exit at the bumper.
Someone hit my side mirror yesterday. This was the final straw. I will replace the inner glass, but the exterior of the mirror shows minor damage. I do not see any SE mirrors available at this time, and while the damage is minor and cosmetic, it has made me realize I don't have a safe place to store this car where it can stay as pristine as it is.
Both door lock actuators seized within a week of eachother. I removed the drivers side so I can lock the door manually, and then the passenger side one froze as well. I have both replacements but no time to put them in.

I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere. I purchased it in Florida in May, and spent 3 months chasing erratic starting issues and idle surging (hence a bunch of the parts listed above) which turned out to be a burned trace in the ECU. I have since replaced the ECU and the car runs 100%. I had plans to do the head swap and enjoy the car but I am currently planning a wedding and trying to purchase a new house, so those are taking priority over this car. You'd be hard pressed to find another low mile SE like this in this condition with everything included for the price.

I'm going to set the buy it now at 8000, I'm negotiable to the right offer. I've invested more than 10,000 in this car over the past 6 months and countless hours and it truly breaks my heart to let it go as I've been searching for a Garnet Red SE in the right condition for the longest time but I cannot devote the time to this car and do not have a safe, clean place to store it when I am not driving it.

Car is located in Overland Par, KS. Can pick you up at the airport or work with you in any way. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, It has been to Florida and back twice in the past 3 months. I will try to get better pictures tomorrow if the weather cooperates, I don't have any underhood pics right now. Might consider trades/partial trades for something else fun that perhaps isn't such a looker that I won't lose my mind if I find a scratch on ;-).
