But unlike some of the fifties’ American land yachts. the Lincoln has the character to match its size. exuding class and luxury from every angle. This particular example is in very good condition with the only exception being the some minor scale on the body. The black exterior paint shines nicely and the chrome is in great shape. with only slight fading on the bumpers and headlight surrounds. The car’s overall size makes it recognizable from a mile away. but the car’s cosmetic flaws—a scratch and nick here and there—are only detectable from within a few feet. The interior has held up well. The classic red/black/gray color scheme recalls fifties’ fashion and the spaciousness of the cabin is astounding. To quote Lincoln’s sales materials from ’59. this car was designed to accommodate “six husky men wearing their hats. ”This Lincoln impresses mechanically. too.
