Car description

For sale is my late fathers CLASSIC SHOW CAR. This car is quite probably the finest example of a 1973 Lincoln Continental Sedan in existence. 99.9% original SURVIVOR. 25,500 original miles. Always covered in a garage and in the last 30 years only went out for shows (and not if the weather was bad). Very light Pastel Blue exterior (although it looks white) with Navy Blue vinyl top and Blue cloth interior. Second owner since mid 80's. Two time Lincoln & Continental Owners Club Regional award winner (high 90's points #1 car). Twenty three additional local/regional trophies all of which will convey.Paperwork includes original invoice and the build sheet plus trunk candy. 25 years of the Continental Comments magazine. A beautiful magazine published by the Lincoln & Continental Owners Club (LCOC). Four cloth folding chairs with Continental logos, LCOC coffee mug, nd even a Lincoln tie pin, lus two LCOC hats. This car has only been driven to shows in the last 30 years and kept covered in a garage. Never been in bad weather. The original owner bought when he retired and only used it to go to the golf course and my father purchased it in the mid 80's when the original owners estate..The beautiful blue cloth seats are perfect and the rest of the interior is mint right down to the factory floor mats. The drivers door armrest has some rubbing off of the lettering "l front" "r front" window switches on the wood grain bezel. This car still smells new.The only mechanical issues are the air conditioning is not working and should probably be converted to R134A and the right direction signal indicator bulb in the dash is burned out. Other than that ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING works as it should. The only parts ever replaced are the battery (which is new), uel pump, eater valve, eater hoses and clamps (show acceptable) as the originals were ineffective, nd fan belts. The clock has been converted to a quartz movement. The points have been converted to electronic ignition (undetectable). The tires are exact factory replacement Michelin's the same as came on the car from the factory and show no wear whatsoever. No fluid leaks of any kind. This car even has the original windshield wipers and are still in perfect shape.ALL the chrome is PERFECT. The paint is still gorgeous. There is some crazing around the trunk key hole but I don't believe he ever lost a point as the rest of the paint is perfect. Two or so VERY SMALL door dings (look close). Original factory markings on all panels and suspension. ABSOLUTELY NO RUST ANYWHERE.This is a complete SHOW PACKAGE ready to win some more trophies. It looks and performs like a brand new car...which it basically is.NADA Classic Car Guide values this vehicle upwards of $17,000.I don't have a very good camera so please excuse the picture quality. Anything less than professional photos would not do this car justice. For any questions: Glenn 410-674-7346.
