Car description

LOOKS NEW! Restored, Lowered, Updated & Customized. Over $10,000 invested!
This is the first year Lexus introduced the SC400 to the US market. It was a bold departure for Lexus, who had only offered the LS and other mundane sedans before. Therefore this SC400 has collector possibilities, especially since it has the same chassis and the legendary Toyota Supra from that era. Many SC and Supra parts interchange, like the suspension parts for instance.
Nearly 2 Year Restoration Process
Many new parts including Godspeed high performance coilover shock/strut units; these Godspeeds are fullyadjustable for ride height and dampening with the turn of a knob; suspension was professionally aligned and the corner weights set perfectly;new brake pads & turned & painted rotors; calipers inspected, cleaned and professionally painted; new ignition components (spark plugs, caps, rotors, high quality spark plug wires); new starter motor (not rebuilt); serpentine belt & associated idler pulley; radiator flushed & new thermostat installed; induction system was removed & professionally cleaned, as were the intake ports; two new genuine DENSO knock sensors; four new O2 sensors; EGR system was deleted so there will be no recirculation of exhaust gas that creates carbon buildup in the induction system.
New gas cap; new radiator cap; new battery; new wipers; all trim repainted/refurbished. Super COLD air conditioning and great heater & defroster (LED replacements in the climate control cluster)
New front spoiler lip, reinforced front bumper cover, and refinished fog and headlights.
BEAUTIFUL custom newer model Lexus red metallic pearl paint with 3 coats of super hard clear coat; high performance Firestone Indy 500 tires & wide custom wheels. This car turns heads everywhere it goes!
Minimal, Yet Classy LEXUS Badging; Distinctive Pinstriping
Engine thoroughly checked & tuned; all fluids replaced...including rear diff gear lube, brake fluid, & coolant; Trans checked & fluid changed with genuine Toyota fluid; re-undercoated. New serpentine belt and the timing belt was changed 20k miles ago.Mobil1 full synthetic oil used.
Refurbished leather seats & door panels; true carbon fiber panel overlays; refurbished black carpet looks brand new (no paint used!); lace-wrapped steering wheel; new WeatherTech floor mats, new sound system featuring a JVC head unit w/ Bluetooth; Kicker & Alpine speakers; Rockville 10" sub in truck; original 12-stack CD player remains in trunk but is not used; high quality window tint; refurbished engine air induction system; new O2 sensors; gutted catalytic converters; refurbished ECM (computer); original spare tire, jack & tools in the trunk.
Owner Manual Included
Sunroof works as normal and does not leak. All controls like trunk, hood & fuel door openers work perfectly. No power steering leaks...no leaks of any kind actually.
New custom rear taillight assemblies provide a unique and much improved look. Original taillights are available too if desired. The restoration goal was to make this a beautiful, modernized and updated SC400.
Includes TWO car covers - one used heavy one for outdoor use, and one new lighter duty one for garage use.
Bottom-line: You would have a hard time finding a '92 SC400 in better condition. Many hours were invested in the restoration. Mine was as much a labor of love as opposed to a slapped-together approach because I was restoring it to keep. I'm only sadly selling it because I am moving overseas and cannot bring it with me due to a ridiculous import duty in the country I am moving to. My LOSS is your GAIN...and that's fine. I want the car to have a great home and be completely enjoyed!!
