All original parts and interior have kept this vehicle very classic and is in impeccable shape. Simple to say the least this vehicle has no "bluetooth hands free options" or seat heaters. Not meant for city life this rover is ready for your daily safari or weekend adventure. Don't get in a rush with this ride because it was built to enjoy the scenery.
Mechanically sound and recently serviced, this rover is a fantastic driver. All gaskets have been replaced and every inch of this vehicle has been inspected and maintained to Land Rover specifications. Literally rust free this 109 is in amazing shape and will definitely draw attention everywhere you go.
The 2.25 L diesel engine is very quiet and is paired with a long geared 4 speed manual transmission with a high and low range. This combo allows for speeds of around 50 mph and makes cruising around town much more enjoyable than the typical series III rover. On the coldest of mornings the glow plugs of this ride warm the vehicle in seconds and it starts right up every time. Very reliable and more tightly sealed than a jeep there are no air leaks in the cab and temperature is no concern in the winter as it is heated.
Shifting is a pleasure and steering is tight when driving this vintage series rover. Jump into the driver seat and get ready for you adventure because the back of this thing has a ton of room. The options for modifyication are endless, plenty of room for a camper conversion! As is, this vehicle needs nothing but a driver!
