Car description

ONE OF THE LOWEST DOCUMENTED MILE GRAND WAGONEERS FOR SALE IN AMERICA!

Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, internationally recognized as a leading buyer, restorer and seller of low mile, excellent condition Grand Wagoneers, presents this very special collector's piece. She is in our “Top Ten” lowest original mile Grand Wagoneers we have ever offered.

The Carfax and Autocheck confirm the super low 39,313 miles with no accidents ever reported. This Grand of course has a great undercarriage and frame, thanks to that very low mileage. Even the original floor pans are still in place in this Wagoneer. The average miles covered per year over the life of this long term owner '88 was a remarkable 1,250 miles per year. Extreme low mile examples are our specialty and they are never in our available inventory for long. When an ordinary Grand Wagoneer just won't do, this is the one for you!

The exterior has undergone a full professional repaint in the original Dark Baltic Blue Metallic paint color. The original wood trim remains in very good condition and we elect to keep the factory trim, whenever the condition is as beautiful as this one. We almost kept the factory original vinyl wood siding also because it still presented well but due to some light sun fading, new vinyl wood siding is being installed. The point to be taken here is that even in her original pre-restoration condition, we started with a very fine example. A curious artifact of a long gone event is still in place with this Wagoneer. The Grand still wears the original 1988 Olympics sticker on her side cargo window, as Jeep was a sponsor of the Olympics 31 long years ago. The front grill frame is new, along with all the window wipes and the flexible chrome like trim pieces. The wheels and center wheel caps were professionally redone and are wrapped with new whitewall tires. (A new spare tire is also fitted to the undercarriage). Even the roof rack has just been re-chromed. The remaining exterior bits, including bumpers and such, whilst not new, reflect just normal ultra low mile usage and very light aging.

This tan cabin is, hands down, as nice of an interior as any Grand Wagoneer we have ever sold. (And that is some statement friends). We installed new carpeting across the floors in both the cabin and cargo areas along with the sides of the cargo compartment. Just the carpeting on the back of the seats and attached to the lower door panes, where wear doesn't occur, are original. The seats look as beautiful and feel as firm and comfortable as you would expect a 39,313 mile example to be. The steering wheel wears a luxurious custom wrapped and baseball stitched cover. Above it all, a new headliner has been installed. The working interior appointments include power seats, power windows (Tailgate window operates via dashboard switch only), power door locks, power mirror, right down to thecruise control. The air conditioning is blowing nice and cold. The factory original AM/FM stereo has just been rebuilt and has a functioning cassette tape deck along with new, high wattage speakers.

At Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, we often spend more time and monies looking after the mechanical and electrical needs of these Grands than all the cosmetic stuff you see on the outside wrapper. This special Grand is likewise in that category. The engine, transmission, electrical components and shift on the fly 4 wheel drive engages smoothly between the 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive options.

Why buy from a Grand Wagoneer specialist? For us the answer is simple- our entire focus is on Grand Wagoneers and we know these unique vehicles inside and out. When you purchase a Classic Gentleman Wagoneer it has been thoroughly inspected and all necessary work completed by professional mechanics, some with over forty years of Wagaoneer experience.

Remember the average age of these vehicles is thirty years more or less, and even with loving care many mechanical parts have aged and worn accordingly. Purchase a Wagoneer from a source other than a specialist and odds are that you may experience servicing and repair costs that may dampen your joy and enthusiasm for that Wagoneer that you always wanted. Yes, our sales are as-is, but as stated above, we often spend more time on the mechanical and electrical bits of these Grands than we do on all the beautiful cosmetics. Still, these are vintage pieces and buyers should expect to do more service and maintenance on a Grand Wagoneer compared to a modern SUV. That is just a truth, fellow enthusiast. Our goal is to see that the joy and enthusiasm of Grand Wagoneer ownership begins immediately with your purchase and that it will be there for years to come.

Be sure to have a look at our website's recommendation page where you can see first hand the positive experiences of a worldwide assortment of named buyers. We deal honestly and work hard to insure a happy buyer. You will never be pressured or chased for a sale but given all the time needed to insure if a purchase is right for you. Guided by these principals, our modestly sized niche dealership has built a loyal and devoted customer base spanning 5 continents.

You are welcome to ring 724-996-1288 for a cordial discussion regarding this example or any other in our current or soon to be on offer extensive inventory.
