1982 JEEP CJ7 LIMITED LS SWAP

I built this jeep and can answer any questions you have. I just finished this project after about 8 months. I did all the work myself, this is one of many Ls swaps that I have done, and this one went very well.

I installed a 4.8 ls V8 out of a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe, the motor was very well maintained and is very strong and dependable. Not sure about the miles on the motor, the vehicle cam in wrecked in the left front and the comp was smashed, could not see the miles. The truck was very clean and obviously serviced regularly. I work with a wrecking yard right up the street.

I kept the original Torque flight automatic transmission and Dana 300 Transfer case. I had them both completely rebuilt. I used an adapter plate to pair the Ls to the transmission.

There is a new Painless engine harness, with a drive by cable computer.
