Car description

This Jeep is in great shape for a 1982 vehicle. I am the second owner and both the original owner and I have taken care of her.
Unfortunately, life changes have forced me to sell since I don't have time to either work on it nor enjoy it on the trails.
My loss is your gain!!!
EXTERIOR
  • The original owner repainted the exterior charcoal with a metallic fleck approximately 5 or 6 years ago, which still looks great with the exception of a couple bubbles/cracks as shown in the photos.
  • The hard top is in great condition. It has been resurfaced with Linex in the same black color. This eliminates the small white chips.
  • The hard side doors have glass windows. Window trim gaskets are sun dried and cracked.
  • The original chrome wheels are wrapped in Goodyear MT 32 X 11.50 15 which are in good shape.
  • There is a tow hitch installed on the rear bumper.
INTERIOR
  • The interior is in good condition.
  • The dash panel still has the original paint and trim decals, including the original "Laredo" badge.
  • The upper padded dash is in great condition.
  • The door panels, and rear seat are original black and silver.
  • The front bucket seats are brand new TrailMax™ II Sport Reclining High Back Bucket Seats.
  • The rear seat is in good condition with no issues.
  • The center console has also been replaced.
  • It needs new floor pans installed which are provided.
ENGINE/MECHANICAL
  • The original 258ci Inline Six Cylinder engine was rebuilt just 3 years ago by the original owner and has less than two thousand miles on it. It is idling a little slow and will need a tune up.
  • Overall this Jeep runs and drives very well for a Jeep.
  • Steering is tight and the vehicle tracks straight and true.
  • Transmission slips periodically in first gear, but other gears are very easy and smooth shifting.
  • All engine hoses were replaced by original owner in 2012 (see pic).
  • There was a brand new battery installed September 2018.
  • 4x4 system works well.
  • Brakes were serviced in 2013.
