Car description

1982 Jeep Wagoneer Limited

This truck is originally from Texas it's first 10 yrs then Utah for 3 yrs and has been in AZ for 19 yrs. It has been driven and serviced on a regular basis for the past 19 yrs. It was my friends vehicle for the past 19 yrs. The body is straight no accidents, the interior is in need of some repairs, driver seat is worn and the passenger seat not as bad. The rear seat is even better with minor wear. The headliner is toast and the carpet is dirty, but no holes. The sun roof does not function with the switch, but works with the manual crank.

It has a 360 engine with a 4 barrel, 3 speed auto trans, full time 4 wheel drive. The engine starts on the first crank and runs smooth with no unusual sounds. The transmission works well as does the 4WD. The brakes were serviced in 2016, new shoes, wheel cylinders, drums turned and new steel braided brake hoses front and rear. The front pads are about 60% and rotors look good. The truck has gone roughly 1500 miles since the brake work was done.

The head lights, turn signals, brake lights and marker lights all work as they should.

The ac needs to be serviced. The blower motor does not function.

It has a 4" suspension lift. Springs only no blocks. The shocks were also upgraded as per the lift. The tires are near new with at least 80% tread left, spare is new with no usage. This truck is 95% rust free.

The right rear quarter has softball size area of rust, but it is the only spot on the entire truck and it has not gone through the inner fender. The rest of the body has no rot including the chassis, doors, floors and roof. there is some minor surface rust and that is to be expected on a vehicle of this age. There is a small dent on the passenger side rocker panel bottom. The driver's window does not work "bad flex track" The window motor works fine. The rear tailgate window does not roll up all the way, but functions without major noises. Switch on the dash works too.

This vehicle is 100% complete and has been a weekly driver until February 2018. It runs and drives well. This is a very good solid truck with a straight as a pin body. If you have any questions call 602-330-2610.

My friend just gave me a box with spare parts and a stack of receipts for the Wagoneer. There are a couple of armrests, instrument cluster housing with push buttons, gauge board, window motors and flex track, headlights, factory Wagoneer center caps, blower motors and oil filters plus trim pieces and small parts.
As for the receipts, there is one for the engine. It was replaced in 1999 with a used one, The odometer was around 180,000 miles. Not sure what the mileage was on the used engine, but I would bet it was less than the original. As stated before, the engine runs smooth and quiet. I also have a receipt for the suspension work regarding the 4" lift with shocks. These were both done in Utah the three years it was there.
