Car description

Up for your consideration is my Jeep. Purchased it back in 2010 as a daily driver out and back to the Airforce Base; 40 miles up and 40 miles back, o traffic and a virtual straight shot at 55+. Did a lot of replacement and upgrades to make her a sweet fun ride in 10 & 11. Ain't no mail jeep anymore! I retired in early 2013 and I just don't drive that much any more. Not count this Jeep, 've got 2 cars, RV and a truck. I'm forcing myself to reduce my insurance and registration expenses now that I'm on a pension. I'm hoping, lmost insisting that a Jeep nut will buy this and keep her pretty and cool and enjoy it as much as I have. Its a 2 seater left hand drive carry all which for the DJ5D's is a tad rare. Not made to do the rock climbing thing rather just a fun driver. Always gets looks, miles and thumbs up! Runs great and drives super and is currently registered and insured. The dual antennas are wired one for AM/FM and the other for the CB radio. Here in the desert ya need all the antenna you can get! Flashing yellow light on top came with the car and in my heart I just couldn't take it off. Still works perfectly and....well its cool at night! The small gauges are have a multi-color selection button allowing each gauge to be a different color, he same or combination. The RPM gauge is digital with red background and green numerics. The battery charge amps and accessory amps gauges are digital and blue backlit. Interior lighting has been expanded to light the back area for ease of access to deliveries and etc. Inverter under Pass seat provides 120vac for small appliances up to its 800w max rating. Plug strip on rear pass inner wall allows 120vac access with a LED trouble light on a retractable reel. Inverter also provides a USB charging port on its front to keep that phone charged! Small 7w night light on th plug strip was used as a reminder that the inverter is on. Pintle tow hook on front bumper. Integrated battery tender/charger to keep battery tip/top in cold weather. Dual fog lights, tronger headlights. Air Conditioning installed with head unit mounted along rear upper ceiling. Has a 15 gallon gas tank. Gets about 22mpg. Comes with a bunch of spares like primer, aint, lect ignition modules, istributor, auges, C refrigerant, ight lens, nd a bunch more.Is exempt from Calif Smog as its 1975....a cost savings for sure. For the following items the word "New" means replaced with a new part 2011-2012 time frame.New SeatsNew Back Wall Cabin lightsNew Seat BeltsNew CarpetsNew High Power AlternatorNew RadiatorNew Transmission CoolerNew 2 outlet 120vac 800w Inverter w/ USB Charger PortNew Analog Quartz ClockNew 3 port Cig Lighter AdapterNew Multi-color GaugesNew Digital TacometerNew ShocksNew Headlights, eadlight RelaysNew Steering StabilizerNew Steering BoxNew ShocksNew Front & Rear King PinsNew JVC AM-FM-CD/IPhone ready Radio with remoteNew 4 New SpeakersNew Paint and Clear CoatNew Roll-up LED Trouble Light40-channel CB RadioNew Dual 102" Stainless Steel Whip AntennasAir ConditioningNew MufflerNew UndercoatNew Spare Tire Storage CompartmentNew Hydraulic JackNew Ignition Switch, eadlight Switch, lower SwitchNew Heater CoreNew 8 Fuse Fuse BlockNew Transmission Filter and Enlarged Pan With Drain PlugNew Cup HoldersNew Tail Light lensesNew Digital Battery Charge Amp MeterNew Digital Accessory Amp MeterNew 12vdc Ceramic support HeaterNew Side MirrorsNew Integrated Batter ChargerNew Rear Tinted WindowsNew Door Weather RubberFog LightsThings that need to be done:As with most all jeeps with this drive train, he transmission pan leaks. After several attempts both by local shops and myself the leak always returns. As a last resort I replaced the original pan with a new pan with a drain plug and a new gasket. Tightened to the 14"lbs as recommended. The new pan was installed last year and I was pleased when it didn't leak (initially), his year its started the old drip drip again. The forums recommend the gasket shellac without a gasket. So I'd get a clean bucket, rain then drop the pan give the shellac a try. I'll send along the plastic drip pan if you want it.Sorry about the book description. Please look closely at the pictures and ask questions.
