JAGUAR 1994 XJ6 VANDEN PLAS *PARTS CAR* (1988/1989/1990/1991/1992/1993)

We have here a 1994 Jaguar Vanden Plas.  Parts car.  I wish I could call it a "handyman's special" but I'm afraid there's too much wrong with it.  Morocco Red (black cherry) with barley (tan) interior.  Last year of this nice classic body style.  Under 125. 00 miles!  Cosmetics are very nice - all body panels are straight. no rust anyplace. no bondo anyplace. No accident history.  No dents. dings. scratches except very slight ding on hood where I once dropped the hose nozzle.   Interior is in excellent. clean condition.  Leather is in very good condition - no cracks or excessive wear.  The rear seats look as if no one ever sat in them!  All wood in great shape - most pieces look brand new!  All glass is perfect.  Headliner doesn't sag. Comes with optional CD changer in trunk.  Battery is just one year old but needs chargning.  Have clear title in hand! The motor starts and runs but the alternator starts whining (loose connection) after a short while and the car stalls.  Blows puff of smoke upon startup. Needs front & rear suspension work (shocks. alignment).  AC doesn't work (compressor. fans).  Radio inoperative.  Electric mirrors don't operate (but can hear motors operating).  Trunk lifts inoperative.  Tires worn.  With regard to cosmetics. bumpers in good shape but need polishing.  Original wheels would need refinishing.  Door handles are pitted (all 4 door handles operate as they should).  Hood ornament loose.
