Car description

This was purchased as a project a few months ago for a nice group of young scientists to fix up and drive. They learned that it is hard to fix a jaguar. They tell me it sounds amazing and beautiful when it runs. but it can be tough to start right sometimes. The car is a perfect fixer-upper. all the core parts like the engine. transmission. power steering. breaks. etc work really well (as far as we know). but most of the lights/windows don't work and the radiator has a leak. It will probably need to be towed to you. Body in great shape. Beautiful car. Comes with an awesome manual and various parts. Registered for 2015. Could fix it up? Use for parts? On Mar-20-15 at 17:24:05 PDT. seller added the following information:New update--5/20/2015remember we don;t know much about cars. but know people who do and they say the following--the transmission is good and the fuel pump and the radiator are the problem. The estimate per mechanical people who is about $800-$1000 to make it run well. I will be taking more photos and posting tonight. Sorry to not have more info but will add more as we find it out. Shipping is at your cost!!! we can't help with that!On Mar-20-15 at 19:33:23 PDT. seller added the following information:I took photos of the worst--be sure you're clear on that--that's so folks know what they're getting into. You see the two worst dings. which are not much of anything. One wheel well has some rust around the rim. pictured. That's the bulk of the rust. I'm sorry the car was dirty. A big cloud was moving in so I wanted to get pics fast. There's a crack along seam in top of hood. with a little rust growing in it. and little bits here and there in some little scratches. There's oxidation of paint on hood and trunk -- I took it from worst angles. I didn't get the sunroof I realize. It's in great shape. The leather in seats is cracked. Not a good pic of trunk but we din't want to empty it. The engine is nothing but clean and beautiful. Yes. it's blue under hood etc. . so it appears to be original color. On Mar-22-15 at 20:45:26 PDT. seller added the following information:Update--the Jag will be registered as NON OPERATIONAL tomorrow in california. Boys say bulbs work. but electric parts aren;t too good like headlights. brake lights. Turn signals work. On Mar-24-15 at 11:43:59 PDT. seller added the following information:Good Tires.
