83 Jaguar 1983 Jaguar Original Owner! For Sale is a rare original owner 1983 Jaguar Vanden Plas. The original owner would like to sell it to someone who will take good care of it. Here is a great opportunity to obtain a beautiful Jaguar. which by prominent collectors is to be considered one of the next collectible classics. This 1983 Jaguar Vanden Plas was the top of the line Jaguar featuring a completely different interior than a regular XJ6 and the MSRP reflected that. The Vanden Plas's interior was closer to a Rolls Royce in the seat designs. inlaid Burl wood accents on the doors. and the huge door to door burl-wood dash. There are fewer and fewer of these cars surviving. and the series III Jaguar is by far considered by most collectors to be the most beautiful car every designed. The exotic Jag has two gas tanks and gets an average of 22mpg. The leather and burl wood veneer are in great condition. A new master brake cylinder has recently been installed. The car is fast as hell like a true Jaguar. The interior is really spectacular. The outside paint has faded a bit after 32 years but could corrected easily. These Jaguars smell beautifully. they were beautifully hand made and fitted and they certainly are always parked at the front of the valet lines here in Palm Beach. This beautiful Jaguar was never in an accident. has been pampered and babied. with mostly highway miles. Original books and service records are included. It is Maroon with Cream Leather. It has a few scratches and dings. as shown in the photos. It needs a new sunroof motor. but all of the electrical system is in perfect working condition. as is the air conditioning.
