Car description

project/parts car or rat rod. Has rebuilt 3.4L engine (with 3.8L XKE head) and 4 speed manual gearbox installed. This car could be made into a custom rod, but is probably too incomplete to be restored. The body has been removed from the chassis and the underside of the entire body and the entire chassis has been completely media blasted, repaired, and painted. Has Chevy discs and caliper brackets on front, Chevy steering column. Original seats with nice old patina. Jaguar Mk.2 bumpers, and many parts included. (many parts re not included: fuel tank, radiator, brake calipers, floors, door sills, interior). This car needs a new chassis (you can buy a brand new one for about $5000). Has legal BC provincial registration. Includes windscreen glass (cracked). All the rest of the glass is flat and easily cut at any glass shop. Comes with Jag XJ6 dash and gauges, and either American Eagle chrome wire wheels or original Jaguar 16" steelies with chrome hub-caps. This car needs extensive work, or make it into the most unique rat rod ever! Both rear fenders are off the car: Left side fender is in perfect original condition... Right side fender is rusty but has a hand-made front half repair section (made in Europe by a professional restoration shop) included (see photos). The car was extensively raced in the Vancouver Island area -definitely has some history... but it's way too much work for me! Sorry, but the price is already low... I won't respond to low ball offers. This car needs WORK! Restored, these cars are selling for $ 100,000- 150,000.They are largely hand-built, with steel, wood, and aluminium. If you aren't prepared to do a LOT of work on this project... this car is not for you. Located in BC, Canada, about a 4 hour drive North of Vancouver, 5 hours North of Seattle. I can assist with transport and know several good car transport companies. Bill of sale and Canadian title included. This is a project or parts car only... I am no expert, but I am pretty sure it would take too much work to actually put this on the road again. Just to be clear, major components, like the floor, other sheet metal body parts, driveshaft, and radiator are just a few of the many parts missing and not included with the car. What you see in the photos is all I have. It currently is rolling on a set of chevy wheels.Buyer must be prepared to have the car hauled (all loose parts are safely boxed)... car is ready for transport!
