Car description

Haul-Haul-Haul Merry Christmas!
Summary:
I bought this truck from someone who got it from Pennsylvania. It had not been started in about 30 years. With some care on the points, plus, a full carburetor cleaning, lubricated cylinders & a new 6V battery, it literally started right up and ran around for about a mile, All the gears worked including reverse. Naturally it smoked some. It could use a flush and some treatment, I will leave that for the new owner.
I am an honest Ebayer and have been since 1999.... PLEASE ask me any question you'd like, request any specific pictures you want and if at all possible, come and look at it before bidding. Know what you are buying. If you are too far, again, please contact me & I will make myself available for us to talk. Serious bidders with sensible questions only please.
The Good:
The pictures say it all. It is a solid truck. It runs good & smooth. There are not many 30's model trucks on the market intact at this price in running condition. It has great body lines and fantastic curb appeal & patina. First year of hydraulic brakes.
The Bad:
It needs all new glass, has no real original seating. The tailgate scores about a 3 or 4. No rear bumper. Left side running board is dented in a bit, both rear fenders have been repaired by weld (see pictures) they are still solid. The brakes do not work, they need attention.
The Ugly:
Left Rear lower cab corner has the typical rust-through, see picture # 12.... I have seen much worse. The title is an original title from the late 30's, from Pennsylvania, but the cab was replaced at some point and it needs the I.D. Plate installed, I have the correct one for it. I have left that for the next owner. But it is all legitimate.
Potential:
Leave it as it is, add some interior and snug a few things up, new glass, and you will have a head turner as-is with little investment.
Make it a Rat-Rod
Or go all the way and make this truck a "labor of love" and restore it to it's original glory. It has a good platform to start on.
This truck gets plenty of attention. I have too many vehicles, my loss is your gain.
I can help you ship it if you do all the leg work.I can help you load it.I can deliver it for $1.00 per mile over 50mi.... $75.00 minimum
The reserve price is less than the "Buy it Now"
