Car description

1969 International Harvester 1200C Pickup4x44-Speed with Granny LowVIDEO LINKHD Version - Paste in your browserhttps://youtu.be/j-ev6j0K2TkThis is an excellent IH work horse. You don't see many in this condition still onthe road. These were used for work. Thisparticular truck hauled cattle to the sale in Oregon. It was in Eastern Oregon all it's life andprobably the reason it is in such good shape. I have spend the last year getting everything in good working order so it can be a daily driver for some luck person. It runs and drives and works like is should - at least for a very old truck.Engine and Transmission345 CI V8 with a Motorcraft 2150 2barrelcarburetor.Petronix Ignition, laster 2 Coil, osch 7MM wires, verythingflushed and tuned. This truck smokes just a bit on startafter sitting, ut is really strong and runs andidles great once it warms up. It sounds like abeast with the new 3"exhaust all the way tothe back and new flow master mufflers. It has an electric fuel pump butthe manual one works as well. It never over heats and runs all day. This truck was made for pulling and hauling with a low granny and 4 speeds. It shift in and out of 4WD well and everything works including the OEM Selecto Hubs. New driveshaft up front and rebuilt one in the rear. Front and reardifferentials cleaned sealed with fresh fluids. This truck with go down the interstatejust fine at 65-70 MPH as well.ExteriorThe paint is original and an awesome color. Ihaveneverseenanother one factory in baby blue. There is not a whole lot of rust in this truck. The floor have patch panels on each side and then sealed with liner. There is a could of places where you can see some rust coming through, ut it is very minor. These trucks rust out in the cowl and hood really bad. This one has no rust in either place. Even the bed is in great shape. I found factory replacement lenses for the signals and taillights that look great. I shipped a never used tailgate all the way from WI for the rear. It works perfectly and I am sure the original one was ripped off many years ago. There is a goose neck plate in the bed as well.Tires and wheelsThis truck has new custom wheels from Diamond Racing powder coated in silver like the originals. Theoriginal spit rims will go with the truck and they have tires on them as well. The tires are an investmentwith 255-85-R16 BFG Mud Terrain KM2's at 4 corners. The tires and wheels are brand new and make the truck really performs on and off road. I put one of the spit rims as the spare in the bed where it was from the factory.InteriorThe seat has new foam andupholstery are brand new and keeps that cowboy theme going. All theoriginal seat belts are there as well. There is not headliner but there is a cowboy hat rack. All the gauges work including the fuel. The radio works and picks up AM only. Washer pump works but needs a new washer bottle and lines run. I recently put a new old stock switch in and wiper motor. The wipers work on both speeds like new. Heater works great and Ihave a shut offvalve under the hood for summer. Door panels are ingreat shape and all the windows work as they should. Theglass is really good. I put a new windshield inwith a new seal. There was zero rust round theframe when I pulled it.I have invest a ton of time and money on this truck. I love working on them and getting them back on the road andpass them on tothe next person to enjoy. I take the money from this sale and put it in the next one. If you are the lucky one to buy this, can guarantee there will not be another one in your town. This is a big hit at car shows too! Good luck and please contactme with any questions.
