Car description

Up for grabs is a 99% OEM stock 1993 Honda Civic Si hatchback, with about 111,400 miles on the odometer. This Civic Si is without doubt one of the best condition EG hatchbacks you will find on the market.
RULE #1 - READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BIDDING!!!!
- I am only the 2nd owner of the car. - The car will come with a huge package of dozens of service records, a fulldossier of documentation that goes all the way back to the ORIGINAL date of purchase when it was new... I will even include the ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE from 1993, and a copy of the original window sticker!! This would be a great car todo a bit of further minor cosmetic refurbishing and then drive to your local Cars and Coffee meets and show off a 27 year old 100% factory stock Civic Si.-- The interior is very clean and original.
PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID, NOT AFTER!!PLEASE DO NOT BID if youa) must ask your parents for a loan, orb) must convince your wife to let you have another old car clogging up the garage or drivewayc) think thateBay is a video game ord) have never heard the term "EG Hatch" before
PLEASE DO BID ON THIS CAR, IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIAa) You have a feedback score of at least 20, with some positive purchase feedback within the latest 3-4 monthsb) Know that eBay is not a game and that yourbid IS A CONTRACT to buy the car if you are the winnerc) Want one of the last remaining original and unhacked EG Civic Si hatchbacks on the market now.d) Are prepared to spend $4000++ to acquire the car.
This car is a time capsule and has for the most part been well maintained and taken care of for most of its life. The only issue which detracts from the car's value is the fact that a few years ago it was involvedin a minor accident which required the replacement of the left front fender, and also resulted in the insurance company totaling out the car, simply because they did not realize the true value of the car. Therefore, unfortunately, the car does come with an open Kentucky title which has been branded as "Salvage".However, in reality, the car only required the replacement of the left corner light and the left fender.I purchased the car from the insurance company, and then I proceeded to order a BRAND NEW front bumper, Hood, corner lights, and left fender, and then paid to have a total repaint done on the car.. Even though it was not required, I bought a new font bumper and hood as well, just to make all the body panels perfect again! I can assure you 100% that there is (and was) no frame damage and the car runs great and tracks true.Over $2,400 has been spent just in the repaint andrenovation of the car, so please don't expect ridiculous offers of $2-3,000 to have any chance at buying the car.
The car hasNO rust issues, no accident damage (other than what was already repaired) and No major mechanical problems. The interior is very clean and original. It drives and shifts well. If I were to keep it, I would give it a fresh set of brake rotors, (they are rusty from not being used for a year) and finish up some small details such as a missing trim piece on the fender, etc.
THE WINNING BIDDER MUST PAY A Non-Refundable deposit of $400 by PayPal within 1 hour of the auction ending, and contact me within 24 hours to arrange a day for final payment and pickup within 7 days of the auction finish. Failure to follow any of these rules, will automatically VOID any obligation I have to sell it to the winning bidder and release me to begin giving the 2nd and 3rd place bidders an option to buy it. An auction is NOT A JOKE, and I WILL pursue with all means possible anyone who deliberately abuses the eBay system.I do believe the car is perfectly safe and reliable for the winning bidder to come in person with an insurance card and legal registration and drive it home. However, if you are too far away to drive it, I am happy to assist in cooperation with a transporter of Your choosing.
VIN - 2HGEH338XPH502944
USED Condition. NO rust issues - the car was sold new and owned for 24 years in Georgia.
Please do not ask me to end the auction early unless you are able to show up here earlier than 48 hours BEFORE the listing ends, with at least $4,000 cash ready to spend.
