Car description

1968 GMC Regular Cab Fleetside Long Bed. 327 V/8 with a 2 barrel carb. . 3 speed manual transmission. and power drum brakes. Does not have power steering but steers very easily and tight. This is a 4 owner truck. counting me. and is well documented from day one with only 60K miles. It has a well documented 60K miles on it and I will list some of the supporting documentation below. Over $7. 00 has been spent restoring the truck over the past 3 years and all receipts will remain with the truck. The truck runs and drives like new. Truck was painted a few years ago and is not a "show quality" paint job but is a great 10 footer with a brilliant shine to the blue paint. Has a small paint run on the front edge of the hood. Does not smoke at startup or at anytime while being driven. Handles like new. No squeaks or rattles. The only thing not working is the original AM radio. All gauges including the aftermarket temp. and oil pressure gages under the dash work perfectly. All interior and exterior lights. 2 speed wipers. turn signals and horn work perfectly. Runs all day at 180 to 190 degrees in any weather and maintains a constant 50 lbs. oil pressure while driving any distance at highway speeds. This truck can be driven cross country without worry. Has lots of power and shifts as smooth as new. Clutch engages as new. The 327 has a great sound to it. The wood sideboards were custom made for this truck. I just drove the truck 70 miles on Interstate 77 to my cabin on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Fancy Gap. VA which is where the truck is currently located. The photos were taken there today. The custom truck cover shown in the photos does not go with the truck. The truck is rust free including the frame and undercarriage. I have a clear title in my name and the truck is licensed and insured in my name. I am selling the truck due to my recent purchase of another 68 GMC Deluxe short bed with automatic and air conditioning.
