1965 GMC G1000 Panel Truck - Classic Civil Defense Wagon 4X4 PTO Winch Collector

A one of a kind 1965 GMC C1000 Panel Truck. This truck has only 10,858 original miles on the vehicle and has been kept in excellent condition. This truck was modified at the factory as a first responder vehicle and used by the local civil defense fire & rescue group for years until the city retired the vehicle 20 years ago. All the emergency lighting and sirens are operational and the unit is a show piece with the new paint job to the original colors in early 2018.

The truck is completely original except for the wheels and tires. The original wheels and tires are still available.

The PTO Winch has not been used in many years but looks to be in perfect condition. You will still find the original gurney in the carriage box on top of the roof.

The only item remaining is the seats need to be recovered on the interior. That will be done later this summer if the unit does not sell.
