Car description

Hi, You're bidding on a 1950 GMC 100 Truck. This was a barn find a few years ago. It is not a show truck by any means but is fun to cruise around in, you will get a lot of looks. I have many requests for pictures with it. The engine and transmission work as they should. Trans is a 3 on the tree, works well. I store it inside in the winters and every spring it fires right up with no problem. The starter sometimes doesn't catch, so you have to wait until it stops to try again. I would say 1 out of every 10 starts it does that- I never drive it enough to worry about it. The floor just has a piece of metal cut out, the original floor is gone. Same thing with the box, just a piece of wood cut out. I've hauled fire wood in the back of it and it holds no problem. It has disc brake conversion on the front, no rear brakes hooked up. All lights need to be wired. No cracks in any glass. Doors open/close, windows go up and down but p/s has a vice grip to open and shut. Rims were blasted and painted. Tires only have a couple hundred miles on them and like new, about 3 years old. Steering is a little loose. Tailgate opens and shuts as it should. No leaks in the gas system. The engine and trans have a little leak. Engine does not use oil. Newer fuel pump and carb rebuild. Valves have been adjusted. Hood opens and shuts as it should. Needs battery tray hold down, I just had straps holding battery in. I have clear Illinois title in my name, in hand. It has no exhaust but I sounds very good for a 6 cylinder. These are hard to find with the orig truck box. I know the oil pressure gauge works, I think volt does but need to confirm. No other gauges do to my knowledge. Please feel free to contact me for a private showing. Thanks and let me know if you have any other questions. I will only accept cash. Truck is located in Amboy Illinois. Buyer must be bidding from USA. Good luck bidding!!
