Car description

Custom 1993 GMC 1500 Step Side Truck (same as Chevy Silverado)

Selling for a friend who just got married and had a child. Its time to let the truck go. Its a great truck that looks, runs, amp; drives great. I would not be afraid to take this truck on a cross country trip. Truck is loaded with lots of extras. Over $30,000 has been spent on this truck over the years. You will not be disappointed in the truck!

The Truck was purchased used in 2000. We are the 2nd owner. I had this truck all through high school. The truck has always been babied and garage kept. All of the paint and body work was done in 2005. This included the 4/6 drop (all using Beltech components. This includes new coil springs, hocks, - notch, lip kit, nd spindles and is ready for an air ride suspension), 0" polished rims, olding and welding the corvette style door handles, haved tail gate ( tailgate handle was relocated to the inside of the tailgate), olding a fiberglass roll pan ( A 1/4 " square tubing steel brace was added behind the roll pan in case of impact. The steel is much stronger than the old stock bumper and allows the truck to be street legal), teel cowl induction hood, 998 grill kit with euro-style head lights, arking lamps, nd taillights. The Dashboard, teering column, oor and seatbelt trim was also painted to match the truck. The radio antenna was also shaved The paint color is from a 2003 S-10. The paint is called Cherry Metallic. Total body work and paint alone was over $8,000. That doesn't include materials or suspension parts. Materials and suspension parts was around $1,700. The person who did the paint and body work also did the suspension drop too. The Interior is a bone/maroon mix. Material is tweed. The seats, believe are from an early 90's RX-7 and fits perfectly symmetrical with the truck. New brackets were fabed up to where the seats bolt to the stock bolt holes. The metal used was steel and is much stronger than the stock steel used on the original seat brackets. I did also keep the stock seat and will also through it in with the sale for who ever decides to take it. The original seat alone is now rare and has sold for about $800-$1,000. The truck also has a console where the stereo amp is located. Behind the seats are two tweeded covered speaker boxes for 12" subwoofers. All billet plates are from Billet Specialties. Other than the steering wheel, as, reak, nd emergency break pedals, ave been refinished by Chrome Masters in Nashville. The door panels are 20 years old and are the original ones that were recovered.

< p>The bed has also been covered in the same done material and has the 1950's rat-rod theme to it. The bed was not tubbed our notched out. The hump was made to stash tools, spare tire, nd jack if someone ever need to replace a tire on the road.

The engine is the original 350 with a 700R-4 speed automatic transmission and has 148,000 miles. The only modification to the engine was putting an open-faced air intake cleaner with a K&N filter. This worked out much better with the cowl induction hood. The truck gained about 15 more hp and ran much cooler. The engine and transmission has always been kept in prime condition. I was always annal about oil changes at every 3,000 miles and is clean. < /p>

When the truck sat, bout once per month it was pull out of the garage to crank the truck. All maintenance on the truck was proactive and fluids were always checked and changed to manufacturing spec.
