Car description

Up for sale here I have my mostly original 1967 Ford Mustang coupe that shows 30116 miles. I bought the car from a trucker who bought it 15 years ago in Caney, s and stored it in a container at his trucking partners house in Arizona for 12 years. He admittedly guessed 80000 miles at the courthouse when he titled it and he drove it less than 1000 miles before storing it. The car appears to be to clean to have 130116 on it but you make the call. It has a build date of October 18, 966 and the trunk lip and front fenders have stamped date codes to match. There is also an inspection stamp under the hood on the passenger side. It has a 289/AT/PS/AC and a console. The car has perfect frame rails all the way around along with a solid trunk and rear floors. The front floors need replaced and the new pans are included. There is a 2" spot of rust on the ps fender apron and another small spot in the ps outer wheelhouse. The original quarters are starting to rust around the wheel wells but the wheelhouses are good. The car looks to have had a partial repaint many years ago but the roof, runk and all jams appear to be original. There's a few dents and dings on the body and bumpers but nothing major. The doors, ood and trunk all open and close nicely. The 289 looks very original down to its paint but has had new belts and hoses. The windshield washer bag is soft and the FoMoCo sticker on the drivers shock tower is in good shape. The car has new tires, ewer battery, ewer ignition parts, nd a rebuilt carb with a new float but we have been unable to get it running. The engine turns over quickly and I believe the rings are stuck to the pistons from sitting so long. We're still working on getting it going and will revise the listing if we do. Everything else on the car works including all exterior lights, nterior lights, adio and the brakes will hold it from rolling off a trailer. All of the glass is in nice shape. The original trunk mat is in there along with the jack and spare tire hold down parts but the tire itself is missing. There is a spare hubcap and original jacking instructions are still present under the decklid. Most of the interior in rough shape because the car spent 12 of the last 15 years in a storage container in Arizona which cooked some parts. The rear seat is perfect and the ps seat only has one seam starting to tear but the ds seat is in rough shape all around. The ds seat frame might be bent or was modified because the last driving owner was 6'-4" and the seat leans back more than it should. The headliner was nice before going into the container but all the seams fried in the heat and there is now a 4-5" tear above the drivers head going towards the windshield. The carpet is in pretty rough shape as is the dash pad which is warped and destroyed from the heat as well. The dome light and console lens were also destroyed in the heat. The console and front kick panels have some cracks in them. The dash and steering wheel are in nice original condition. The factory wiring in the car all appears to be soft and in great condition. Overall the car would make an easy project or get it going and drive it as an original garage find in its current condition. The car has a clear KS title that matches the door tag and fender apron stamp. The car is selling with no reserve so with one bid you could own it. It's also for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime before a bid is placed. I can personally deliver the car within 250 miles of Ottawa, s for $1.25 per loaded mile paid in advance. For longer distance transports contact Chris @ ASAP Transport 1-800-757-1178 ext. 101 for a free quote. Thanks and good luck bidding.Just to specify it for everyone the engine on the car is not locked up not has it ever been. It seems to turn over quicker than it should believed to no compression believed to be caused by sticking valves. I haven't had a chance to get to it but I was going fill the entire engine with marvel mystery oil to try and get everything moving properly. The buyer can have both gallons of the marvel mystery as well as 5 quarts of oil and a filter.
