1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Tudor Sedan Show Quality Restoration

  Up for bid is my 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Tudor Sedan. I purchased this car from a man who owned it for many years so it has only had a couple of owners. This car is a late 31 with the indented firewall with the gas shut-off under the hood from the factory. This car is exact as it was when it was new. It is a true deluxe car and not made up like so many are. The factory colors of  “Cobra & Chicle Drab” with the Tacoma cream stripe and wheels are the way it started life out with. The restoration was done about twelve to fifteen years ago there about and was a complete body off professional job at the time from a great strait example. The interior is beautiful and done using LeBaron Bonney Mohair exact as per factory specs. The overall condition including the headliner seats carpets etc. are just beautiful. The correct wood grain on the dash and all the window reveals are the best I have ever seen. The steering wheel and all the details throughout are beautiful. The Top is also correct and as new. The tires are in good condition as well. The paint looks beautiful and has held up just great with no issues and present good as or better than the pictures show. If I had to say anything there are just some road chips on one of the front fenders but nothing that takes away from the beauty of this car. The door fit and body are the way you want it to be with no problems and super strait with no waves. All the glass is excellent and all the windows work perfect. The motor and complete undercarriage is nicely detailed and still fresh looking the way we all like to see. Everything works in the car and it runs great.I recently this past winter did a lot of mechanical work that I felt it needed including and complete rebuilt Transmission from Schwalms in PA.. I also went on to install rear axel bearings and new leak less water pump and front end and steering work as needed. These are the things I felt the car needed to make it right and doing this before selling it I feel is the right thing to do so that the next person knows what the have and will enjoy the car for years to come. .
