1956 Ford Customline Country Sedan Station Wagon.
292 ci Y-Block V8 also used in the Thunderbird.
3 speed column shift manual transmission.
First year for the 12-volt electrical system. New for 1956 was the ball-joint suspension replacing the outmoded kingpins. Very low production body style for 1956: 23221 of 1 373 542 total. Car needs a full restoration including floor panel, front cross member and a bit of frame work. Still, it would make a very cool wagon when done. The car was running and driving just a few short years ago and was featured in a Canadian TV show, where it received its pinstriping.
