I have up for sale a first model year 1973 Ford F250 Ranger XLT Camper Special. This truck is rust free! Even in the usual Ford spots like the cab floor pans, drip rails, door jams, bottom of doors, front fenders, cab mount pillars or bed and bed floor[pics]. I have owned multiple 73-79 Ford trucks and Broncos over the years and this one is the most rust-free I have seen. This truck was purchased from a family farm locally and has not been licensed for 12+ years. It was stored under cover a lot when not being used and it shows. They did use it around the farm and has the farm exempt sticker on the front windshield[pic]. I have many more pictures and a video of it running to share. If you are interested in seeing them, please message me.
The truck has 74,255 showing on the odometer. The wear and tear, the way it runs and drives, as well as the engine paperwork I was given makes me believe this is the true mileage. The 360 engine had work done in 2002 with paperwork and the mileage at that time was documented. No smoke, leaks or oil consumption. This truck runs and drives great. The steering and front end are very tight. I installed new front shocks and inspected and greased the tie rods and ball joints. The brakes are near new and work great. Parking brake works perfect. The automatic transmission shifts very smooth. There are no leaks or drips from under the truck. The exhaust is single exit passenger rear (stock) and in good shape with no exhaust leaks. I performed a recent engine oil and filter change as well.
The truck has been repainted in the past and looks and shines well. However, there are small dents, scratches, and paint imperfections up close. The doors close like new with original door pins, bushings, and latch striker pins in very good shape. The windows roll up and down with ease. The bed is in very good shape not rusty or beat up. The tailgate is not beat up or rusty and functions as it should with a custom aluminum sleeve over it. Passenger side mirror is missing the glass.
All original XLT interior with even the 1973 carpet sun-faded but in good shape. Original seat could use some upholstery work and has a seam tear on the drivers side. The seat belts work. All gauges work as well as the heater. The glove box light, interior light and the bed cargo light all work. The stock radio does not work.
Overall this Ford is a great daily driver or easy restoration project with no major body or mechanic work needed. This is a time capsule! Save $ over a restored truck with this well-cared-for classic!

Correction; the Dana 60 rear endis 3.73 gears as stated on the Marti Report, not 3.54 gears as I listed above. All to the best of my knowledge. There is no reason it should have changed, I just listed the wrong ratio.
