1958 Ford F-100 Big Window Custom Cab

1958 Ford F100 Big Window Custom Cab Short Wide Box. Original drive train 292 V8 with factory automatic and brand new BFGoodrich tires. I purchased this truck 22 years ago with it having a 10 year old frame off show quality restoration completed in 1988. This was a dry California truck before I got it and has never had any rust. The original color was Green and white with the green part now red. I have always kept it inside getting it out for a spin several times a year. The speedometer is not working and the odometer reads 19,501 miles. In the 22 years that i have owned it I would estimate that i have maybe put 15,000 miles on the pickup. This truck has never been cut or modified maintaining most of its originality. This along with its options makes it a very desirable and special truck. This truck is very nice for a 62 year old truck but if you want it to be perfect it would need a refreshing. It has minor paint chips and imperfections from 22 years of enjoyment. It does not use any engine oil but does leak a little transmission fluid when it sits. The truck starts, runs, drives and stops as it should and probably would have as a 2 year old truck in 1960. It is very reliable, very solid and very tight. Drives straight and true and cruises very nice at 60-65 MPH and both doors shut like an antique refrigerator. The factory safety starter switch still works only allowing it to start in neutral. It is better than a driver quality truck of this age but if into rare originality, I believe this '58 Ford F100 big window with factory V8 and automatic has the potential to be the finest on the planet!Partial trades considered for 1973-1979 and 1992-1997 F-100-150-250-350 in all cab, engine and drive types.
